Dr. Devendra Singh Hiran was born on 28th December, 1976 in the city of lakes "Udaipur" in Rajasthan, INDIA. He completed his schooling from Hans Open School and Central Academy from Udaipur. His father Advocate Kanchan Singh Hiran and mother Dr. Chandrakanta Hiran motivated him from early childhood in the field of music.

He has done M.A. in vocal classical music from Gandharva Mahavidhyalaya and has done his Ph.D. in music upon Ghazal Gayaki of Shri Jagjit Singh.

A law graduate and a practicing lawyer by profession, Devendra Singh Hiran is joint secretary of Maharana Kumbha Parishad, Ex-Secretary of Spic Macay and Founder Executive member of Law Students Forum and associated with various musical organisations. He daily practices classical and light music as a daily routine.

He has taken formal training in music from Dr. Prem Bhandari and Pandit Dayanand Dev Gandharva. He is an approved All India Radio Artist.
